Remove the quotes around [id] and try the link again. If the issues are not solved, try changing the “Flatten” setting to just YES, not the “and transform text to images” option.

Please paste the shortcode you are using in your email and provide a screenshot of the ‘entire’ field map layout with the form, dataset and layout selected for further troubleshooting.

Yes, each Field Map Layout can be used as stand-alone.

The Embedded Form function is designed to work with two forms and one PDF. But that does not stop you from mapping forms to other PDFs and merging them.

Let us know if you need more help with embedded forms, it’s a very flexible feature. We remain at your service.

Yes, “Activate Form” allows you to merge the activated form to PDFs using the field map layout. Forms that are not active will not merge to PDFs.

The PDF field format options are here. http://www.formidablepro2pdf.com/format-options/

We leave the field validation to Formidable Forms, however there is a “Capitalize First Letter ” option (shown above) and a new “Capitalize All” that is not shown in the link above.

We can also add custom formats if there is something you need that is not currently available.

    1. Correct.

    2. After the 2.0 version update, PDF’s are merged and the attachement is sent when the “Do not store entries submitted from this form” is selected in the form’s settings.

Never mind! I see the issue, it’s the signature field in the PDF file. We map to Adobe Text Fields our plugin is not compatible with Adobe Signature Fields.

To fix: Replace the PDF Signature Field with a PDF Text Field and change the Field Map Layout to the PDF Text Field.

    Thank you, I need a little more data;
    1. Paste the “url result” after clicking the download link
    2. Does the merge work from the plugin screen after selecting the form, dataset, layout and clicking the Export button?
    3. Paste the entire shortcode that was used to copy the download link above.

I was referring to download links with the shortcode suggestion. However, the 2.0 version of the plugin all merged pdfs with “Attach file to Email notifications” selected in the Field Map Layout will attach to all selected “Email Actions”.

    Please confirm you have;
    1. Installed Formidable Forms Plugin, created at least one form and submitted data to that form at least once.
    2. Installed our plugin, uploaded a pre-made PDF form, and created a field map layout to link the Formidable Form to the PDF Form – using dropdown lists to choose the fields from both forms (and you didn’t need to type in any field names).

If all is confirmed, may we log in to your site to check the installation? if yes, please complete this login support request form.

If login is not possible, please provide a screenshot of the entire Field Map Layout showing after selecting the Form, Dataset and Field Map Layout, and the final link after clicking export, so that we may further troubleshoot the issue.

Have you updated to the new 2.0 version? If not, you may have more than one layout for that form set to send emails, until the latest version you could not do that. To fix, update your plugin or uncheck “send email” on all other layouts for that form.

The functionality you require is possible, but would require the entire shortcode to be dynamic, not just the LayoutID.

… something like (if field [200]=YES then [SHORTCODE]).

I can’t think of a way to separate the columns without programming.

As a possible workaround, I would use two repeatable sections with 7 names/codes each, one for each PDF column. They could be side by side with numbers on the fields labels to offer form flow and user guidance 1), 2), 3), 4), ect.. You could also add Formidable’s custom tab control to the form for data entry flow.

Are you using the new version 2.0? Did you submit data using the form before selecting the form in the Field Map Designer? If yes, do any other forms work in the designer?

If data has been submitted and the form still results in “Loading layout… Please wait…” then we may need to take a look at your installation. If possible, please complete this form to request login support.

Yes, using two of Formidable Pro’s form settings, Allow front-end editing of entries and Allow logged-in users to save drafts, you can have multiple contributors work on one form, then send the form through our Field Map Layout when it’s complete to create the pdf.

We are working on a demo just like this, there is a bit of a trick to making the output like a book, we’ll show that in our demo – and can assist you directly to make it all happen quickly.

Did you select the new “Secure Links” feature to be active? If so, the links are not backward compatible, meaning old links will not work, but the shortcodes themselves did not change.

If the secure links feature is not the issue, we may need to take a look. As your comment “Select the form to export data from: and choose “application” may mean you have an error in your database. Try changing the “Use as Dataset Name?” field in the Field Map Layout to a different field and resave. If it works, there is a issue with data in the “Use as Dataset Name?” field.

Please complete this form if you want us to log into your server. http://www.formidablepro2pdf.com/login-support-request/

If login support is not possible, please paste the shortcode, resulting link and the final destination URL for further evaluation.

Until the latest update it was not possible to backup the field map layouts, however, with the new beta UNRELEASED version you can now export/import Field Map Layouts and use Formidable’ export to export/import the associated forms…

While we are still testing the update, we have not found any issues. If you would like to upgrade early, click here to download the plugin. Install it to replace your version, and you’ll be able to use the export/import feature. Don’t forget to export your formidable form(s) too.

To install the beta version: Deactivate the plugin, delete it, Upload the above and Activate it. All your layouts will still be there, and now you’ll see a “TEMPLATE” tab at the top, it’s self-explanatory from there. But let me know if it’s not or you need help.

Update us with your progress, while we remain at your service.

The plugin must be activated on each subsite, not the network. To fix, deactivate the network plugin, and then activate the plugin on the subsite(s)… It’s working now, take a look and let us know if you have any other issues.

We are working on a major update to include adding keys and templates, we hope to have it done soon, but don’t have a timeline yet.

Regarding the 2nd install, can you see any forms? Is it possible for us to log in? If yes, email temporary credentials to support at formidablepro2pdf dot com. If not, please email a screenshot of the entire plugin screen.

We are still working on your request, in the meantime, I should mention the workaround to attaching all forms, which is to conditionally place a shortcode for each PDF form into the Email Action Message box to produce a link allowing the user to click to download the form.

In other words, multiple shortcodes work in email actions…

We remain at your service and will update you as we make progress towards attaching all the pdfs.
