While the plugin does “work” on WP Multisite installations – site limits still apply because you must install the plugin on each subsite, as Formidable field ID’s are not going to be the same and will require field mapping on each subsite. Which is precisely why we only charge $1 for additional sites.

Use the shortcut in a Formidable View to generate a list of entries and a link to the pdf file. We will create a demo on our site within the next 24 hrs, or we can log into your site and create a demo there. If you want us to log into your site please email temporary login credentials to support AT formidablepro2pdf DOT com.

The upgrade process is not yet automated, we’re working on that. Check again, your key should be working now and for the delay I’ve added an additional day to the expiration date.

Currently, the attachment function is limited to one attachment, however, we are now examining expansion of the functionality based on your need.

Thank you for your question, we’ll be back with more information very soon.

Formidable Forms has two add-on payment system options, Paypal and Stripe.

Data is saved to MySQL and visible from the Entries page. Additionally, entries can be exported many ways as shown here on Formidable’s site.

Using the “separate values” option, make the “value” match the LayoutID then in the shortcode, change the static LayoutID to the radio button field like this…
    [formidable-download form=”c1q9s6″ dataset=[id] layout=[101]]

Where [101] is your radio button using the “separate values” option with the value matching your LayoutID’s.

You can also use the Formidable Shortcode Conditionals such as IF STATEMENTS directly in your shortcode.

Yes, you can map to PDF fields marked as “Read Only”.

With ‘transform text into images’, try using a different font. Font types have a lot to do with text image sharpness when using “transform text into images”.

The flatten option alone makes the text ‘read only’ but selectable. However with this option text can be edited in some Adobe editing programs.

Another option that would not require custom JavaScript may be to upload two PDF forms, each with a different static image already saved in the PDF form. Then, dynamically change the LayoutID based on a radio button selection.

There is not a built-in solution to this request. You will likely need to add custom JavaScript that will populate a hidden Image URL field when a radio value is selected.

. Verify you submitted the “Fall Registration” form at least once so you have at least one dataset saved to the form.
. Verify that your PDF has form fields before uploading to the plugin.

THEN Upload a screenshot of the entire plugin screen with the Form, Dataset and Layout selected to this support thread…
OR Send temporary login credentials to support at formidablepro2pdf dot com and we’ll take a look at your installation to identify specifically what needs to be done.

This was an issue that was solved by reinstalling Formidable Forms. Please verify you have installed Formidable Forms using the Add Plugin screen (http://www.eclipseperformingarts.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=search&s=formidable+forms) to add Formidable and all should work as expected, if it is installed we may need to login to test your installation. Are you able to email temporary login credentials to support at formidablepro2pdf dot com?

I believe Formidable may find this request to be a need for custom programming. We can offer the service, or Formidable has a list of developers for hire on their site. Send an email to support at formidablepro2pdf dot com if you want an offer from us.

    1. Images may be mapped to PDFs using a hidden Image URL field, which can be preset with a static Image URL to avoid having a user upload the required image.

    2. Conditional Formatting is not recognized by the plugin. If you have Formidable Pro installed, use the “Separate values” option in your (VA/Denver | Indian Health/Military) radio button field, and make the “value” the respective paragraphs, then map the radio button to a PDF text field. When merged, the PDf text field will show the “value” of the selected radio button.

Let us know if the above is not answering your question or a fix for your design requirement as we remain at your service.

One (1) file can be uploaded per File Upload Field, other than that it should just work. Please email login credentials to support at formidablepro2pdf dot com and we’ll take a look. It’s a new feature so there could be an issue we have not discovered.

Can you verify that you are using the inline parameter without including the download parameter automatically prompts to open or save, and paste the shortcut here?

Changing the [id] to lower case, I tested [if 436 not_equal=””][formidable-download form=”s7kje” dataset=[id] layout=”13″][/if 436] and it works as expected.

After changing, if you still experience any issues, paste your shortcode and we’ll check it for you. Replace ID’s with x’s and y’s if you’d prefer.

Yes, you could have results in 5 minutes or less. If you already have the Formidable Form and a PDF output, it would simply be a matter of placing PDF Fields over the current dynamic data in your pdf – thereby creating a PDF Form – then deleting the static data from the PDF Form then finally ‘map & merge’ the current Formidable Form to the PDF.

We are at your service, let us know if you need assistance making it happen.

download=”[285]” was added to the shortcode.

Where [285] is the download radio button with values of “YES” and “NO”.

Enter two shortcodes in the form’s OnSubmit Message to have two buttons at the bottom of the form after submit. The print button should have the inline parameter, and the download button should have the download parameter.

*And Keymaster said; Let’s have some coffee and discuss this.*

Not sure I understand your question, did the additional file upload fields merge three images to the PDF form?

Are you able to elaborate on the workflow or requirements regarding the need to “export the data, parse out the file links into separate columns and then reimport“.

    2. Many of your forms will have common fields such as Name, Address, Phone, ect… With that in mind, create a Field Map Layout to use as a template with common PDF fields that you will duplicate for mapping other PDF forms, using the helpful tips listed below. Once created, you can click the “Duplicate this field map” button at the bottom of the field map to make a copy to map another PDF form.

Here’s a Tips & Tricks spoiler from our first newsletter, due out tomorrow…

Create large Map Layouts a lot faster

    • Use common field names on all your PDF forms. Helps when duplicating field maps.
    • Use recognizable, easy to type, field names for the PDF fields.
    • Type the first few letters of the PDF field name into the PDF Form Field Name dropdown list to quickly find the correct field – rather than slowly scrolling through the long list.
    • Click the “Add another Field Map” button 17 times, then map those fields and save the field map layout – then reopen the field map layout and repeat – until all the required fields have been added. Try it! – you will be able to find and select the next Formidable Form field much faster – because you won’t need to scroll the entire list to find the next field.

    STOP!We love you Josh – DON’T JUMP! – We’re here to help…

    1. Use three (3) File Upload fields in your form, do not use the “Multiple files” option, then map each of them to your PDF form.

I’m still working on your answer to question #2 – I’ll post it soon…
