The plugin does not limit the number of pages on the PDF, you may upload pdf’s of any size to both the free and premium versions.

That’s odd…. Are you having any errors or is the plugin still working as expected? You may try uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin to remove the notification.

Open all unused, test, and failed Field Map Layout and change”Attach file to Email notifications” to “NO” and click “Save Field Map”.

Or, it’s better to remove all unused, test, and failed “Field Map Layouts” that are associated with the Formidable Form.

    To remove all unused, test, and failed “Field Map Layouts”;
    1. Select the “Select the form to export data from:”
    2. Select the “Field Map to use:”
    3. Scroll to the bottom of the field mappings and click “DELETE ENTIRE FIELD MAP”, and confirm the action.
    4. Repeat until all unused, test, and failed “Field Map Layouts” are deleted.

Then test and let us know the outcome while we remain at your service.

You need to add PDF Text Form Fields to your PDF document where you want the data to be visible.

If you do not have Adobe Acrobat (not Reader, you need the full version of Acrobat) then upload your document to PDFEscape.com to add the text fields to the document.

Then, upload the PDF Form to the plugin.

The plugin will recognize the PDF form fields and allow you to map them to your Formidable Form.

You uploaded a PDF document without PDF Form Fields. The PDF form fields MUST be added BEFORE you upload to the plugin. You can use Adobe Acrobat or PDFEscape.com.

    1. Which program was used to create the PDF form you uploaded? Was it Adobe LiveCycle or another program? FYI, the plugin is not compatible with LiveCycle forms.
    2. Under the settings page, “Enable local PDFTK” should not be checked.

Other than the above issue, no other known causes exist. We are happy to login and take a look, complete this form if needed.

Yes you are correct, thank you for letting us know! After receiving your update we checked and it does appear the feature stopped working after the last update. We will fix and update the plugin as soon as possible.

In the meantime, a work-around can be achieved with this javascipt (Copy and concatenate field values) from Formidable’s site…

We apologize for the issue and are working to resolve the matter quickly.

Are you mapping the Formidable Form checkbox field to a PDF checkbox or a PDF text field?

If mapping to a PDF Checkbox Field, the PDF checkbox field value must match the Formidable checkbox label. NOTE: values are case sensitive.

Try mapping to a PDF text field to see which merged value you receive…

If needed, we are available to login to your installation and map a checkbox field as an example. Complete this form if login is needed.

Thanks! This is an interesting one… Have you tried disabling the Create a Post function to see it that is the cause? I’m not sure we’ve ever tested that particular function with a merge.

If disabling fixes the issue, a quick work-around would be to add a hidden field and a bit of javascript from Formidable’s site to copy the contents of the “Agency Name” field to the hidden field, and then map your PDF to the hidden field.

Alternatively, complete this form to have us login and test the issue.

“Enable Secure Links” adds a security key to the link resulting from the shortcode, which prevents users from changing the link to access other data entries, forms, or layouts.

Use the “Allow downloads only for roles” or the “Allow downloads only for user IDs” features to restrict user access. Both features can be set for each field map layout that you create. The setting are located on the Field Map Layout just above the field mappings.

Yes, in the PRO version, there is a parameter to “Flatten” the pdf, which disables the form fields – or not. By default the fields are left editable in both the free and paid versions, just like our all-fields demo.

Reading your request, it appears you want to upload and edit the PDF’s online. If so, there is no plugin able to accomplish such a task, this would require a system similar to Adobe’s LiveCycle.

Automatic field map creation (for admin users) is a built-in function on the Field Map Layout screen when the pdf field name matches the Formidable Form field_key. With the exception of multi-select list fields, and repeatable sections which require manual mapping.

It may be possible to create a customized front-end solution, if needed, complete this form to have us review the request. (http://wp.me/P67GUo-1iw)

After you create one field map layout, you can just DUPLICATE it by clicking the duplicate button at the bottom of the layout. Then, change the field mappings and email action to match the next row of data.

Again, this will be a glorious use of the plugin!

Thinking this through, you’ll need to create an email action and a field map layout for each row.

    1. For each email action – Set up the “TO:” email address and students data in the body to match one row of data.
    2. For each field map layout – Select a corresponding email action.

When you’re done, you’ll have a form with 15 rows, 15 email actions and 15 field map layouts that will all trigger when you hit submit.

    It will be glorious!

Yes, absolutely… with this plugin you may attach a merged PDF to one or multiple form email actions, and Formidable’s email actions can be set to conditionally send based on form data.

You could have one email sent for each of the 15 rows, each with unique data merged into an attached PDF.

Exactly what you described. Let us know if you need help setting this up, we remain at your service.
