    To access data in Formidable Forms, you’ll need to use the shortcode in a Formidable View and paste the view’s shortcode on the page. Use a filter in the view to limit the view’s data and pass a parameter to the view’s filter in the page’s url.

    There are two ‘special characters’ that were causing issues….
    – Exclamation point in; “Staff Orientation – May 27-June 3rd; All staff required to attend!”
    – Plus sign in; “Google +”

    The image field was not found in the field map layout, it worked once it was mapped.

    We duplicated the field map layout and converted all values back to before “Use separate value” so the prior entries will still work. Except for the two option values listed above.

    You must use a PDF creation program such as Adobe Acrobat DC (not Acrobat Reader) or PDFEscape.com.

    Optionally, you can use an online service such as Fiverr.com to have your PDF converted to a PDF Form.

    Our plugin will not “Expand” fields to fit data or “Span” a field’s data across pages, even with the Export to .docx function.

    The Export to .docx function simply sends the PDF to http://www.pdfaid.com/ which then converts the file to .docx and sends it back. The process is slow and results vary depending on the document.

    The work-around we use for the issue you described is Adobe’s “Auto” font size and we adjust the height of the text field box to limit the max font size.

    Glad to hear the plugin is working well for you, just wish the renewal system did as well! Yes, you’ll need to purchase a new activation key, our automatic renewal is not working correctly. No need to reinstall, just replace the expired key with the new key and all will continue to work as expected.

    PRO2PDF was not designed to work with draft forms or draft entries, this is our first request for such functionality. A work around is to submit the entry and provide the user the ability to edit the entry.

    It appears there are not entries in the form. We just entered data into your form, try the merge now. If it is still not working, please use this form to allow us to login to your installation if possible.

    If not possible, then let us know if forms show data when selected in the Field Map Layout.

    Yes, sort-of… rather than using the plugin’s flatten function, you can set individual PDF form fields to “Read Only”, the merge will still work but users won’t be able to edit the “read only” fields.

    Our plugin is not compatible with LiveCycle forms, you’ll need to convert the form to an Acrobat Form. We found PDFEscape.com to be a useful tool to convert LiveCycle forms to regular Acrobat Forms. Simply upload it, unlock one field to allow editing, then download the PDF. Done. Upload to PRO2PDF and all should work as expected.

    Yes, but the consumers will fill out a Formidable Form, our plugin will merge the collected data into a PDF which may be printed and/or saved anytime after the consumer clicks the submit button.

    Chinese characters are not supported at this time, we are working on a fix but as of now the plugin is unable to successfully merge them.

    PDFtk (our PDF engine) does not offer a method of batch printing PDFs, however, Adobe Acrobat does. Try their solution example here: http://blogs.adobe.com/acrolaw/2010/03/batch-printing-pdfs-and-other-files-using-acrobat-9/

    Use the shortcode’s flatten parameter found here. If you have the pro version then change the Field Map Layout option “Flatten PDF form” to ‘YES’.

    We are aware of an issue where a failed merge produces an inaccurate error message. If you have never registered the plugin, then the error is likely a merge error.

    Complete this form if it is possible for us to login to your installation so that we may find the issue.

    Or, if not possible, then try creating a new field map layout with just one mapped field to a new PDF with one field to see if the merge function works. If it works, then you’ll need to troubleshoot the merge itself by trying to merge one field to the PDF form, to make sure the PDF form is not missing or corrupt. Then we recommend duplicating the existing field map layout, and deleting one field at a time and checking the merge function to find the issue.
