How to Create a Field Map Layout…
1. Create a PDF form. It’s best to name the fields the same as the Formidable Fields Name or Keys
2. Check the “Enable automated layout creation for new field maps” option on the SETTINGS tab.
3. Upload the PDF to the plugin as shown on the demo video.
4. From the EXPORT tab, enter a name into the “Name of Field Map (will be used as default filename):” field
5. Select your PDF form in the “Select PDF file to work with:” dropdown field.
6. Select your Formidable Form in the “Select Form to work with:” dropdown field.
7. Click the “Create Field Map Layout” button.That’s the basics, check our documentation for field specific issues, or search the FAQ for terms or issues.

PDFtk is NOT required it’s optional. If you do not have PDFtk on your server the plugin will work by DESELECTING the “Use Local PDFtk” option found on the plugin’s SETTINGS tab.
Otherwise, you’ll need to ask your hosting provider for assistance with installing PDFtk.

The preview issue was a bug in the plugin that has been resolved in the latest plugin update this morning. Update your plugin to fix the issue.

If you do not have PDFtk on your server then simply uncheck the Enable local PDFTK option on the SETTINGS tab and the plugin will use our PDFtk server.

If the Formidable is a radio button then the related PDF fields should all have the same name but PDF fields Export Values should match each of the Formidable radio button options.
If the PDF fields are named the same as the Formidable field name or key then the plugin will automatically map the fields, if the name/key does not match, you must manually map the one Formidable field to the one PDF field name/key.

Use the Templates tab to export each of your field map layouts, then remove and reinstall the PRO2PDF plugin. Then, use the Templates tab again to import the field map layout templates.

You are able to mix the site/forms count (i.e. 5 sites/6 forms) for a total of 11 by asking us to make a change for you. How many sites/forms do you want and what is your order number?

You may add Formidable Views to your field map layout by selecting “FORMIDABLE: DYNAMIC” from the “Webform Data Field ID” dropdown in the field map layout.
Or, you can create a new form that imports the required data from another form using Formidable’s Get Value from Entries shortcode then create the field map layout to map your PDF.

The easiest solution is for the email to have links for you to download the applications that have been selected.
In order to attach the selected applications, you’d need to create a different form for each application and have the user complete and submit them separately, which could be made to appear seamless by changing the SUBMIT button text to NEXT>, but is a lot more work to setup.We remain at your service.
Currently, our plugin works exclusively with Formidable Forms. Our new version will work with many other plugins but it’s not expected to be released until the first quarter of 2018.

Yes, you can use the checkboxes and Formidable’s conditional logic to determine which of the plugin’s shortcodes are presented for a download link on a page, post or the body of an email. However, sending PDF’s by email may be a little more difficult to accomplish, we would need to know the complete workflow to determine if PDF attachments would be possible.

For accent characters, use the “UNICODE” language option on the field map layout.

Test troubleshoot, try disabling all plugins except Formidable plugins and test again, if it works, add the plugins back one at a time, then test to see which is causing the issue. Let us know the result.
