While the plugin will enter Formidable Form Dropdown selection into a PDF Dropdown field, we did not design it to populate PDF Dropdown Lists with non-selected data. This is not a feature that has been requested in the past, however, we can take a look at adding the feature if needed. Are you leaving the PDF forms editable and need the un-selected data from Formidable when the user (or admin) downloads the PDF?
There are unfinished, unused, abandoned, or non-working field map layout(s) for the same form that also have email attachment checked. Go through all other field map layouts for the same form and uncheck the email attachment option.
Or better yet, delete all unused field map layouts by selecting the layout – scroll to the bottom of the layout and click “Delete Entire Field Map”.

Hi! The issue was caused by the size of the PDF Form being over 16GB! Way too big for the plugin to process. A one page PDF should be no more than 650kb, even with a full size high-def image.
We’ve optimized and re-uploaded your PDF Form to the plugin and now all works as expected. You’ll notice the PDF fields now have a dropdown list on the Field Map Layout, as they should. In the future, if you don’t see a dropdown list of field names then the PDF was not recognized.

FYI: To optimize the PDF we ran Acrobat’s “Optimize PDF” and then ran the “Combine Files” function to create a new copy of the PDF and the file size reduced from 16MB to 626k! A HUGE difference! Also, we will change the plugin’s error message to provide a better description of the too large file issue. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

Please update the PRO2PDF plugin as we have release an update that addresses the lowercase issue. However, changing the font is not an option when using the Unicode option.

Yes, you may have your own pdf files populated with the data from Formidable Pro forms. The Formidable will handle the conditional logic, PRO2PDF will merge the resulting text. While PRO2PDF does not use Formidable’s conditional logic, there are several ways to merge the conditional data.

Mapping Formidable Forms Signature Plugin requires the paid version of PRO2PDF, however, you may use a Formidable single line text field to request a user’s “Electronic Signature” and change the font of the PDF Form’s text field to a script font to resemble a signature.

Yes, they should work as the first set of radios, keeping in mind that the values must be exact. We strongly suggest using copy/paste to ensure the values are identical. Font sizes are controlled by the PDF Form making program or app. Right-click on the PDF form field to adjust the field’s font settings.

Yes using the password shortcode parameter, however, the function only works with the shortcode, not when attaching the PDF to emails.

PRO2PDF is PHP 7 compatible, the warnings do not affect most users. pdfaid is used by the function that converts PDF to docx. files and requires a membership on pdfaid.com.

There may be a large image, incompatible data in a field, or something wrong with the entry. This is not an issue we have experienced often enough to have a go to reason… We would need more info…
To troubleshoot, try this… Duplicate the entry using Formidable’s “Duplicate” function in the Admin Entries page, and see if it merges, if it does merge, then something’s wrong with that particular Formidable entry.
If it doesn’t work, then somethings wrong with the data.
Try editing the entry and deleting data one field at a time and testing the merge until you find the field causing the merge to fail.

The plugin does not send a .txt file with the PDF, sounds like you still have another invalid Field Map Layout that is set to send a PDF Attachment.
Verify there are no more field map layouts, if verified and the issue still occurs, try deleting and recreating the Formidable Email Action then make sure the email action is selected in the Field Map Layout.

Delete all abandoned, unused, test, or blank Field Map Layouts, and/or de-select the “Attach PDF” option on any field map layouts that you want to keep but don’t want the PDF sent as an attachment.
