Yes, repeatable form fields are a feature available in the PRO version by selecting “Repeatable” from the FORMAT dropdown in the Field Map Designer which then produces a “Repeatable Formatting…” text area where you can add the field ID [xxxx] and any other text or character – the plugin does the rest.
Have you updated to the latest version which disables the highlighted image feature?
Regarding data recovery, there are no “revisions” module such as posts/pages, however, we’d need access to look in the database to check if the data is lost or just hidden…
There are no limits to the number mapped fields, however, that said… 270 fields may be a few more than we are working with on any of our forms. Can you email a temp login to your server? (support(at)formidablepro2pdf.com) If not, then please forward your pdf form and let us know about your hosting, (shared or private) and we’ll recreate the map on our side – or find the issue in doing so.
This issue is corrected by cleaning up the field map layouts. Any layout with “Attach PDF to Email notifications” marked as YES will send the associated pdf. Duplicates can cause undesired results.
The field value of the Formidable Checkbox and the export value of the PDF file must match. If they do and you’re still experiencing an issue, please email a temporary login to (support(at)formidablepro2pdf.com) so that we may use to check your setup. Or, if that is not possible, please email your pdf file to us, and we’ll make it work on our test site – then provide you with temporary login access for your review.
The full version of the plugin only works online through our API. To use the plugin offline you’ll need to install PDFTK on your server and PHP shell commands must also be enabled.August 27, 2015 at 6:15 am in reply to: Unlimited license is not working, only allows 1 form. #1354
Your license has been updated accordingly, and we are working on correcting the issue for other users going forward. Thank you for letting us know about the issue.
Thank you for using the plugin and for your kind words about the plugin. Simply place the shortcode in the “On Update” message section of the Formidable Form to merge and download the PDF with the updated data after update.
There was (and may still be) a bug in Formidable regarding shortcodes in the “On Update” message box, if you experience any issue, please see this thread for a possible solution. https://formidablepro.com/help-desk/shortcodes-not-working-in-on-update/
1. PRO2PDF (paid) provides functionality to add a second dataset to your shortcode and the pdf form. At this time, we do not expect to expand beyond two datasets.
2. The plugin supports the mapping of formidable form fields to PDF form fields and attaching to the resulting pdf form to Formidable Form emails. Adding other types of PDF content is not currently supported, or being considered.
NOTE: Using Adobe Acrobat as your PDF Form designer may provide additional capabilities specific to the PDF form structure and content.
With that said… If you see something that this plugin could or should do regarding filling in pdf forms, let us know as we are happy to consider adding new features upon request.
3-Continued… Unless you’re referring to using the shortcodes without “submitting” a formidable form to merge a pdf with pre-existing formidable form data – then the answer is YES. You would just need to generate your shortcodes as static entries or dynamic fields based on formidable form data entries and forms…
1. Yes, Formidable Form fields may be mapped to multiple PDF form fields.
3. No, not without a great deal of programming, the functions of the plugin are directly tied to Formidable’s architecture. That said, we are considering implementing other form plugins such as Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms, but that’s going to be sometime in the unforeseeable future.
That is not the license code we have on file, however, we do not post codes on the support forum. Please send an email with the license code you used during the update to support(at)formidablepro2pdf.com.
Error is being caused by the use of Adobe Signature Field in the PDF file. Change your pdf form signature fields to regular text fields as our plugin does not work with the Adobe Signature Field – we just use a regular pdf text field to map Formidable Pro Signatures to pdf forms.
That is not a common error, are you using an install of pdftk on your own server? Is it possible for you to provide a temporary login for us to take a look at the plugin? If so, please send to support(at)formidablepro2pdf.com
Yes, the trial includes all PRO features.
When/where are you receiving the error? During install, setup of the field map layout, or opening/viewing a PDF?
Thank you for trying Fomidable PRO2PDF. We fully refunded order #1313 on August 17, 2015 at 7:15 pm.
Please let us know what was needed for the plugin to achieve your need so that we may better serve users in the future.
We apologize for the inconvenience and the delay in replying to your inquiry. We also thank you for informing us of the issue with the demo as we were not aware a WP update had created a bug.
We updated the plugin and released a new version today. The demo is working correctly, please try again and let us know if you have any questions or issues with your installation.
We updated the plugin today, please update your version and try again. Let us know if you experience any issues.
We remain at your service.
Before removing the plugin (or after you reinstall) you must delete each of the field map layouts by selecting them from their dropdown “Field Map to use” and clicking “Delete entire field map” then delete each of the pdf files by selecting them from their dropdown “Select PDF file to work with” and clicking “Delete the PDF file”.
The Formidable Form data must be deleted from the Formidable Form Entries screen.
If you enable “Attach PDF to Email notifications” option, and create an e-mail notification, then you will receive PDF files to your mailbox. You won’t need to insert download shortcode to On-Submit message text boxes or into the email message. It just works.
But first, let’s make sure the pdf shortcut is setup correctly by making it work in the OnSubmit…
Can you provide temporary admin access to your server? support(at)formidablepro2pdf.com
If not, please send a screenshot of the plugin screen with the layout and dataset selected.
1. Yes, the PDF file must already have the fillable fields.
2. Add field names to the PDF fields when creating the PDF file before uploading to the plugin.
3. After an admin screen pre-warning 15 days before the end of the year the plugin will stop working if the license is not renewed. We expect to offer automatic renewals soon.
4. Yes, the completed PDF can be emailed by using the Formidable Form email option.
5. Thank you for your questions, they will help other users too. Feel free to ask as many as you want.
Sounds like the plugin will work for you, except you must use the PDF’s built-in submit option to sent after the customer signs the document. (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/X/pro/using/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7dd6.w.html)
Functionality and support for the Formidable Signature add-on is available in the PRO version of the plugin.
From the Field Map Designer, create a map from the Formidable signature field to a pdf text field and select the Signature from the Format Dropdown. That’s it – the plugin only uses the pdf text field’s coordinates to insert the .jpg image that is created by the Formidable Signature Add-on.
If you have attempted the above and you’re still getting random text, there may be an issue with how the signature is saved on your server – we can take a look if you send temporary login credentials to support(at)formidablepro2pdf.com or reply for alternatives.
This is not a common error, are you using the free or paid version? Has the plugin ever worked on your server?
There is nothing in the plugin to help with this issue. We used Java in the past to split large fields into other hidden formidable fields that span to 2nd and 3rd pages of the pdf.
Our apologies Tom, all the messages from this forum ended up in a pending folder – the issue is resolved. Data is not stored on our server and we are adding an SSL certificate this weekend.
