Two activation keys were purchased, order #’s 33103 and 34247. 33103 expired on April 23, 2022, the other key is active with a key ending in “94D6E” expiring on January 26, 2023.

If you confirm that your key is correct then try merging a PDF from the plugin’s EXPORT tab and let us know the result, and if you are using an SMTP plugin then try disabling the plugin and testing the PDF again.

The PDF form has fonts that are not compatible ‘MSungStd-Light’ and ‘UniCNS-UCS2-H’.

The Unicode extension can possibility work with Chinese characters using the Arial MS font, but there are 2 problems:

1. The font size is 40mb (so all PDFs will have 40mb+ size (if not flattened)), and;
2. Licensing issues because the font is not free. So it’s best if you use our newest plugin, E2Pdf. E2Pdf allows you to upload and use your own font(s).

By default, merged PDFs are visible to all users. If your user can see the form’s On-Submit Message, then the user will also see the link to download the merged PDF form when the PRO2PDF shortcode is used inside the On-Submit Message Box.

Viewing PDFs may be limited by user roles and/or specific user IDs by setting the “Allow downloads only for roles:” and “Allow downloads only for user IDs:” options on the field map layout.

If users are redirected to a page or post – and you are not using the form’s On-Submit Message – follow these instructions to place the PRO2PDF shortcode inside a Formidable View and then place the view’s shortcode on the page or post.

PRO2PDF does not have a limit to the number of fields that may be mapped.  The only limits are in your server’s PHP settings.  

We have not tested any PDF forms with more than 700 fields.  For that number, we recommend the following settings.

    memory_limit = 512M
    post_max_size = 256M
    session.gc_maxlifetime = 1440

Sounds like you are trying to use the shortcode directly on a page or post, rather than inside the Formidable Form’s On Submit Message Box.

Where is the shortcode? Use this form to provide a screenshot of where the shortcode is located. If the shortcode is NOT inside the On Submit Message Box, then you’ll need to place the shortcode inside a Formidable View and then add the view to the page or post.

Confirm that you have on Formdiable Form with 5000 fields in the single form?

If so, explain to us how are you editing the Formidable form? The Formidale form editor is a known memory hog that has issues with extra-large forms.

You’d just have to test it, but my guess is that you will need to increase a lot of PHP settings. These are the settings we normally suggest for large forms.

However, I doubt these settings would be sufficient to complete a form with 5000 merged fields. If the plugin does not currently work for your needs, we will not be able to expand the functionality.

Again, we’ve never seen a form larger than the one we have tested. And checking that form today, it’s still extremely slow to edit in Formidable Forms due to the size…
