Stefano, you never contacted us after the issue was resolved to let us know you were experiencing the issue again. This was caused by an excessive amount of tmp files being created in the /tmp folder. Did the issue begin after a recent update? Can you check the folder and let us know if it’s full of files?

Do not use the PDF signature field, it’s not compatible with the plugin. However the PDF text field should have worked if you select “Signature” under the format dropdown of the field mapping.

Thank you for your request for support regarding your recent update of Formidable to version (2.01.01), released MAY 5, 2016.
We have not experienced the issue you have described, in the past month, on the hundreds of installations running the PRO2PDF plugin, including several of our own.
If you have the Pro version of Formidable Forms installed, go to your WordPress Plugins page and deactivate Formidable. Then select ‘Delete’ or go to your web server (via FTP, SSH, SFTP, etc.) and delete the entire formidable folder. If you are using the free version, please delete and reinstall from WordPress.org here. You will not lose any saved forms or entries when you delete Formidable. (from Formidable’s site)
After reinstalling Formidable Forms, please check for the issue again and let us know the results.
If you would also like to reinstall PRO2PDF, be sure to first export your field map layouts before deleting and reinstalling the plugin.
Unfortunately, we have worked on this feature enough to say, this cannot and will not happen based on how Formidable creates and displays graphs and charts. PDFtk (our PDF engine) cannot merge javascript or html.
However, we are constantly looking for ways to integrate with another plugin to merge a saved PDF file into your PDF form, which would also allow us to merge graphs, charts, and even Formidable Views. We started evaluating PrintFriendly this week and we may have some success.
Currently, the only known workaround is to use Acrobat Javascript in the PDF form to create the graph/chart based on the merged data from the Formidable Form.

This is an issue with the WordPress Multisite (WPMU) install. The plugin must be activated on each site locally, and will not work if it is WPMU Network Activated. Deactivate the plugin from the network, and activate the local site installation, then all should work as expected.

. Add a PDF text field to your form where you “need the signature to appear at every page in pdf” and then map the PDF text fields to one or more Formidable signature fields. (PDF text fields named the same do not “duplicate” signatures, uniquely name each and mapped in the field map layout.)Second, I need the name field to appear on 2 pages….

. Not sure what you mean by vertically, however, with repeatable fields you have two format options,
1. Repeatable – Allows the manual entry of repeatable field ID’s [xxx] and html formatting.
2. Repeatable (separate fields) – Allows the manual entry of repeatable field ID’s [xxx] and html formatting for placing data in separate fields, rather than consecutive fields.For option 2, name the PDF text fields the same but add 1,2,3,4… at the end of each field.

Okay, checkboxes should be used for any fields which allow more than one option to be selected.
Can you attach the PDF invoice to this login support form so that we can see how the invoice data is to be presented? Additionally, we are happy to login to your site to map a Formidable checkbox field to your PDF invoice form as an example.

You may have a PDF form field issue. Be advised, the plugin is not compatible with AdobeLive Cycle forms or Adobe Signature Fields (use text fields instead).
1. Try creating a new field map layout with the same large PDF form but only map the first few fields, if it works, duplicate the large field map layout and begin deleting field mapping and test the preview until the merge works as a process of elimination to find the field mapping that is causing the issue.

By design (of every application in the world) Radio Buttons are a single select option. You must use a Checkbox to select multiple options for one field.
With that in mind, you may need to change your approach before we can offer assistance or a solution for your invoices. Please let us know if ‘multi-select’ checkboxes are what is required.

All parameters in the shortcode can be made dynamic by replacing the id with a field shortcode or [id] for the current entry.
As an example of how to change the shortcode to be dynamic. In this example, the shortcode could provide any number of merged PDF forms based on any data in a form.
EXAMPLE 1:
Imagine a Formidable form that includes a dropdown list [103] of documents (field map layouts) for a user to download…

Please clarify your request. Do you have additional fields for the “Spouse” address data? If so, are you using javascript when the user selects; ” Yes- copies the address from what the applicant put in for his/her…”? If so, then NO, this will not be an issue as you’ll map the spouse address fields and whatever data is in the fields will merge to the pdf. Let us know if the spouse address fields need further advice.
You can also overlap PDF fields, as long as you manage the data correctly, we use this method all the time with Formidable’s show/hide conditional logic.

Unfortunately, text formatting is not supported by PDFtk, therefore, not supported by the plugin. Any formatting of the PDF would need to be done using the PDF form field settings, and/or with PDF javascript.
Regarding; “the downloaded pdf shows the inputted information for the previous submissions.” Sounds like the dataset shortcode parameter is set to a static value rather than [id]. Verify that the dataset parameter is; dataset=[id]

There is a shortcode parameter to name the file, but that does not change which PDF file is being used for the merge. (Login to view all parameters here.)
Reading through the workflow, the plugin may be capable of the desired result, except we are not clear about the “8 documents in the exact same format with up to 6 color variations“. Can you elaborate, or better, are you able to skype in English about this request? If so, please complete this form with your skypeID, but without the plugin and login info, and also include the best time to reach you.

If your PDFs are the same, except for the data, then you can likely use conditional logic to show/hide fields and data values. However, we would need more information to provide a suggested path. Can you provide the user workflow and the desired result?
There is not a built-in way to add a watermark, however, you can conditionally fill a hidden form field that adds/removes the “watermark” text.

Repeatable fields do not currently work with signature, image or field upload fields. If you are not mapping one of the incompatible fields we would need to see the form and field map layout to further troubleshoot the issue as the current version of the function has been tested and found to be working as intended.
If possible, please export the field map layout and attach it to this form, we do not need to login at this time.

We apologize for this unprecedented delay! We are still trying to fix this ridiculous bug, unfortunately we have not been able to as of yet. The problem is with PDFtk and would require a rewrite of a large part of the plugin. We have not given up our efforts to fix or find a work-around, in fact, we have hired a new developer who began working on the issue yesterday, and we hope to have at least a work-around for you this week.
