    Hello,
i want to email form data as a pdf extension to the receiver. Submitting the formidable form on the wordpress page, an error message appears:
“Formidable PRO2PDF, Can not open a temporary file for writing, verify the permissions.”
I looked to the permissions for folders and files in the provider’s configuration menu, but i cannot find the reason, also the wordpress app works fine. So my questions is, where should the temporary file be created and from what and which permissions should be set? I am using the 30 days trial version.

    Thank you and regards,
    Harald

The folder that should be writable is /tmp folder . It’s a standard folder where temporary files can be stored. Please verify that it is writable by the server.

I checked the tmp folder and the settings are 0777. The whole wordpress app is installed in a folder named “www” and this folder is defined as root for the assigned domain and database. WordPress and formidable pro are working fine, there are no problems. Also the 2pdf can be configured for the form which is to handle, but submitting the form gets the error with creating temporary file. Do you have any other idea to solve the problem?
    Thanks and regards, Harald

Can you provide a temporary login to your WP installation for us to take a look? If so, send to support AT formidablepro2pdf DOT com. If not, please email a screen shot of the entire PRO2PDF screen with the Formidable Form, Dataset, and Layout selected in the dropdown boxes, and the PDF form.
