Hi Team, I exported a field map from one of my sites, and imported it into another. That worked great, but when I try to duplicate the field map I imported, it’s not working. I receive a message after clicking to duplicate that the layout has not been added and I can use it, however there’s no copy showing in the field map pick list.
As a test, I tried to duplicate a map that was already exiting on the site, worked great. So I thought I’d import to another site and try duplicating there, but same thing – a message saying it was a success, but it’s not listed to select from.
Is there a limitation to being able to duplicate an imported field map?January 23, 2018 at 3:50 pm #17707
Thanks for letting us know, we are working on this support request and will update you as soon as we have more information.

Thanks guys. An update on it, I just created a brand new field map of the same form, and it does the same thing when trying ti duplicate. 🙁 I’m still able to duplicate the maps for forms that I created on my site and didn’t import into it.
Thanks for looking into this!

Hi Team, I was hoping for an update on this item, It’s a blocker for me at the moment. 🙁 Sorry to push, I know you’re busy – and historically you are so quick. If it’s going to be a while I should get started on doing all 30 maps manually. lol…

We apologize for the delay, however, we have not been able to reproduce the issue. Are you able to provide an example of a template that is failing?

Would it help if I just gave you access to my site? I would just need to know where to post credentials for you. 🙂 Thanks so much.January 30, 2018 at 6:55 pm #17802
Sure, we’ll login and take a look, use this form to provide credentials.

Awesome, Thanks. I’ve filled the form – If you go to the field map layout for the form called “Gavin’s Backflow Inspection Certificate”, there are 2 field maps created, I can’t duplicate either one of them 🙂
It’s a prod site, but I’ve taken a backup just now, so if you need to try anything funky with it, go ahead.
Thanks for taking a look!January 30, 2018 at 8:22 pm #17804
Found a bug being caused by the apostrophe in the name of the field map layout. Remove the apostrophe and all will work as expected. We’ll investigate fix for the bug and let you know when an update is ready.

Oh wow, I would have never, in a million years tried to remove the apostrophe!! You are so smart for figuring this out – and so fast! 🙂 Thanks so much, You really made my day. 🙂January 30, 2018 at 8:41 pm #17806
Again, our apologies for the delay. We are working on the finishing touches to release the beta version of the replacement of PRO2PDF, called E2Pdf. It would be great if you would consider beta testing testing the plugin with us. You can sign up for emails and to be a beta tester on the site.
E2Pdf is the only full-featured PDF Editor for WordPress with “Extensions” to merge data to the PDFs. Gone are field map layouts as the new version intuitively maps directly to the PDF from a graphical representation of the web form or WordPress page/post.
At the time of release, the extensions will include WordPress (page, post, & meta data), Formidable Forms, and Divi’s Contact Form Module. We will be adding WooCommerce, Contact 7, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, and every other forms plugin. Then we’ll move on to Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, Joomla and Drupal as well!

Awesome, ok, I entered my email to get the updates and use the beta. Really excited to see what’s to come! And no worries on the delay at all, you’ve always been so accommodating and prompt with support. Always a fantastic experience. Thanks again. 🙂January 31, 2018 at 8:57 am #17815
