After a recent service request I have been encountering these messages when submitting a test form.
This one from the email.
“There was an error generating the PDF file. This activation code is not valid.
”
This one from the website when I attempt to download the submission.
“There was an error generating the PDF file.
Your server wasn’t able to upload PDF file:”I bought the full formidable basic package and signed up for the $2 30 day trial from Pro2PDf.
Thoughts on how to fix?
The email error message may not be accurate, it appears the PDF merge is failing, and not an activation issue.
Try unchecking the “Send Email Attachment” option on all unused, unfinished or test Field Map Layouts or better yet, delete them. Then test the merge from the plugin’s admin screen, if it works then test the email attachment.
