Hello! I’m running into an issue with the PDF not being attached to the email even though on both my form field map designers, the option to “Attach file to Email notifications” is set to “Yes”. I am able to successfully preview PDF and Export to PDF. Do think there is a setting in my host emails that would prevent me from sending attachments? The host is Hostgator.October 8, 2015 at 8:55 am #2437
In addition to “Attach file to Email notifications” set to “YES”, you must also check the Email action box for the action you want the PDF attached to.
There are no known issues with Hostgator, or any other hosting provider with regard to attaching pdf’s to email actions. However, that said we have not specifically tested the function on Hostgator. (NOTE: Intranet installations require the Unlimited Intranet version of the plugin)
Let us know if the Email action box is also checked, and if you’re still not receiving the email attachment.October 8, 2015 at 8:59 am #2438
To clarify, the “Email action box(es)” will show up below the “Attach file to Email notifications” setting when set to “YES”.October 8, 2015 at 9:17 am #2439
I see the “Email action box” and I select it and “save field map” but the checkmark does not stick. When I bring up the field map, the box is not checked.October 8, 2015 at 11:08 am #2441
I logged into your demo server, however, I don’t see the plugin.
Try this: DUPLICATE the layout by clicking the “Duplicate this Field Map” button located at the bottom-right of the Field Map Designer screen after selecting the layout from the “Field Map to use:” dropdown.
Then try selecting the “Email action box” and let us know if it saves with the layout. If it does not, also let us know how many field mapping the layout has. You can check the new BACKUP tab for the number of field mappings.October 8, 2015 at 12:36 pm #2442
Yay! It’s working with the latest update to Version 1.7.20.
Thank you so much for your help!!! 🙂
