I’ve created a PDF template in Indesign with the fields matching the fields in the formidable form.

The PDF form works fine in on my computer, but when I create a new field map the plugin doesn’t seem to recognize the form fields at all, so I have to type the name manually. Now, when I try to export the dataset to PDF however, I get an error “PDF-document kan niet worden geladen” (PDF-document could not be loaded). The plugin works fine with your example PDF by the way.

    – What could cause the PDF fields to not be recognized?
    – Is it not possible to use PDF’s created with Indesign?
    – Are there any additional requirements to the PDF I want to use?

No, Indesign does not use standard PDF fields. However, we can take a look at the file to see if it’s possible to convert the form to a standard PDF form if you upload the PDF here.
