Any way to populate the fields from a logged-in user’s profile? I assume that’s a function of Formidable (Gravity forms has that option, but I figured I’d ask).

Any option to stamp photos on the forms?

I built a site with similar functionality for a client 5 years ago in Drupal, using the FillPDF module.

Loan officers log in and select a pre-mapped PDF. The fields are populated with info from their profile AND their photo is ‘stamped’ in place (designed x/y coordinates based on the PDF)

Because the client was/is on shared hosting, we had to use an addon piece of software called SetaStamper to stamp the photos. https://www.setasign.com/products/setapdf-stamper/details/

Though I understand the image stamping can be done on a server that provides for a Local PHP/JavaBridge (requires servlet container such as Apache Tomcat 6)

I imagine the answer to my first question is yes, with caveats, the second I would assume could be implemented for a fee. Give that some thought and let me know what you think.

I’ve often thought as a packaged solution the whole thing could be a business solution in a lot of industries, but I detest Drupal and didn’t/don’t have the programming chops to do it myself. I don’t mind paying for it, though!

Actually I see the image option is already available. Nifty.

And I see that dynamic default values are available.

Last question. All of our PDF forms will use the same set of fields, no variations to them at all. Can that dataset be applied over and over to new PDF forms? As opposed to manually creating and mapping the fields over and over?

    Q. Any way to populate the fields from a logged-in user’s profile? I assume that’s a function of Formidable…
    A. Yes it is a function of Formidable, using the Get a value from an entry EXAMPLE: [frm-field-value field_id=x entry_id=y]

    Q. Any option to stamp photos on the forms?
    A. Yes, by mapping the File Upload or Image URL field to a PDF text field and setting the map “Format” option to Signature.

We remain at your service, and would be happy to help you rebuild your old solution in Formidable PRO using our PRO2PDF plugin.

    Q. Can that dataset be applied over and over to new PDF forms?
    A. Yes, after you create your first field map, simply click the DUPLICATE button at the bottom of the map and then “POOF” you have a duplicate! You can then change the layout name, PDF, and/or other settings as needed.
