    Hi. I have installed your plugin on multiple client sites – paid versions. Can you help me with a few things.

    I’ve done a field map and want to be able to use the same form and field map again and again…duplicating the form, changing content on a few fields, then setting up another template. Each time I do this I have to rebuild the field map. Is there a way to preload an existing template/field map. I’ve read your instructions and tried a bunch of different approaches to no avail.
    Help please.

    Also, I have an if then in a form whereby if you are A you complete fields A and if you are a B you complete field B. I’ve setup the form the for the A and B; however, the blank fields overwrite the content. How do you handle this?

    I’d be happy to pay you to build these out so they work correctly. Can you help me?

    We use the following methods “to preload an existing template/field map”;
    1. Enable automated layout creation for new field maps – checkbox found on the Settings tab.
    2. With an existing Field Map Layout open, click the “Duplicate this field map” button at the bottom of the layout. Then, select the new layout from the “Field Map to use” dropdown and change the “Select PDF file to work with” to the new PDF form.

    Q. “I’ve setup the form the for the A and B; however, the blank fields overwrite the content. How do you handle this?”

    A. We use the following methods to populate conditional data;
    1. Add overlapping PDF fields for both A and B options then map them to the Formidable form field. So if data for A is entered, A’s PDF field(s) populate with A’s data, and the same for B, without ‘overwriting the content’.
    2. Add hidden text calculation fields for each PDF merge field, then map then hidden field(s) to the PDF fields.

    We can provide more support instructions to complete any of the above, or we can provide a quote for paid support using this form.

    We remain at your serivce.
