Hi there. I’m looking at your product and want to know if it has a specific capability for our use case.

Users fill out Formidable Forms and attach a number of files to them. On submission data from their form is sent as JSON to our server. Our server then makes a REST call to the website to download the associated file attachments. What I’d like to do is PDF some of the form information and include that with the files that get downloaded (so basically like it was a file uploaded to the formidble form). Is this possible with your product?

I believe PRO2PDF will work for your use case, however, not using JSON and REST.

PRO2PDF will merge Formidable Form data to a PDF and then email the PDF, and the uploaded files, as attachments to any number of recipients.

Is that the use case you described? If not, please provide additional details regarding the use case requirements.

Be sure to check out our newest PDF plugin called E2Pdf. The new plugin has tons more features, capabilities, and plugin compatibility.

Thanks for the prompt reply. That ‘may’ work but I think there are a couple of issues:
    1) The major issue is that we have turned off attachements in the form submissions as the file sizes often exceeded the mailer limit; and
    2) It would introduce a manual step for someone to save the file from the email into the system when all other files are populated automatically.

    I’ll consider the implications.

    Thank you.

E2Pdf has built-in functionality to save the PDF anywhere on your server. That plugin would be a better fit.

The free version includes all functionality for one 1-page template so you can test (or use) it free.
