    If I have already uploaded a pdf and created the field map (which is very long) if I need to make changes to the pdf and re-upload will I have to re-match all the field IDs to the field names?

    When I first uploaded the pdf the data fields were all the same and I had to reset them to match. I am afraid if I re-upload the pdf it will go back to old data field IDs.

    When re-uploading a PDF with the same file name the field map will continue to work. You will only need to map newly added fields, and any PDF fields with changed field names.

    For new field map layouts we strongly suggest naming the PDF fields the same as the Formidable field name unless there are multiple fields with the same name, in which case, name the PDF field the same as the Formidable field_key. Then select the “Enable automated layout creation for new field maps” option on the SETTINGS tab to automatically create the field map layout.

    I tried to re-upload the pdf with the same file name, but nothing changes. I also tried removing the pdf file and re-uploading and nothing changed. Is there a different way I need to re-upload the new revised pdf?

    We would need to see the issue, if the PDF is different, but with the same filename, then the change will be realized. Complete this form to have us take a look or provide a screenshot of the field map layout settings and links to the web & pdf forms.

    I just filled out the form from the link you sent and when I submit it says:

    This page isn’t working
    http://www.formidablepro2pdf.com is currently unable to handle this request.
    HTTP ERROR 500
