    HI,
We’ve trouble getting the demo (or any other) pdf to generate and show. After clicking the link a virtually blank page appears saying (roughly translated into English) “Are you sure you want to do this? Try again [=ilink]”.

We also have this message showing in the FormidablePro2Pdf dashboard in WP:
“You can generate only 1 PDF form, because your server has to have pdftk installed for PDF generation. Please install it. Alternatively, you can activate Formidable PRO2PDF if you want to use more forms.”.

I guess “only 1 pdf form” means we can generate a pdf from 1 type of form, but multiple times, right?

Any idea how to fix this?

    Cheers,
    Giordano

We are happy to help. Yes, the message you are receiving means you are using the free version and will only be able to merge data from one Formidable Form to a PDF form, but any number of times.

Regarding the link, sounds like you may not be using the shortcode correctly in or in the correct location(s). If we can login to your WP site, we’ll setup the demo so you’ll have a working model if you complete this login support request form. Or, we can try to help offline if you forward screen shots of where you have the shortcode and a screenshot of the PRO2PDF Export tab with the Formidable Form, Dataset, and Layout selected.

Being somewhat reluctant to grant anyone admin access, here’s some screenshots. Let’s see if we can get the demo preview going, yes?

    1. The Export tab:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/tv94vd9mdg6f0yn/exporttab.tiff?dl=0

    2. Demo form appears after hitting the Preview button:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/uaxb5hxcdl651m8/demoform.tiff?dl=0

    3. After submit a Get My PDF button appears (pdf is NOT auto downloaded as requested):
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/la6jbp2fxh252og/getmypdf_button.tiff?dl=0

    4. After hitting the Get My PDF button a message appears, it roughly translates as: “Are you sure you want to do this? Try again”.
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/la6jbp2fxh252og/getmypdf_button.tiff?dl=0

    5. The url in the page at 4 above reads:
    https://ecoteca.nl/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wpfx_generate&form=qr6df2&dataset=14&layout=999&download=yes&flattenOverride=no&key=3d407490905dcccfe91a43f8efafaa46

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Cheers,

Oh, and the demo form selected is the only one activated on the Activated Forms tab:

Thank you. We also need a screenshot of the Demo Form’s “Settings” page “On Submit” message box and a screenshot of the PRO2PDF “Settings” tab and “Under the Hood” tab.

Thank you, we are still reviewing the images.

Question: With the same form, dataset and layout selected in this image (https://www.dropbox.com/s/tv94vd9mdg6f0yn/exporttab.tiff?dl=0) what happens when you click the EXPORT button?

    Thanks for your quick replies!

To answer your question; hitting Export button results in displaying the same page having the “Are you sure […]” message.

Is that message familiar in any way?

No, that message is not at all familiar… Try an uninstall and reinstall of the plugin. If the reinstall does not correct the issue, we may require access to provide support. We are willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement, if needed, please complete the login support request form.

    Hi again,
Reinstall makes no difference, same message pops up after filling in the demo form.
So could you please send us a new link to your support request form, the one above seems to not work.
    Cheers,
    Giordano

Hi again, thanks, we’ve submitted the support form. Needless to say only to work on the areas regarding Formidable Forms (menu item = “Formulieren”) and Pro2PDF.
    Thanks!

Thank you. We may also need access to the WP Plugins page to troubleshoot the issue, however, we will wait for your authorization before accessing the page.

The issue has been found to be an unknown conflict with the WooCommerce Helper plugin.
    A couple of questions;
. Are you actively using and need the plugin?
. Have there been any modifications or customizations done to your WooCommerce Helper plugin installation, or is the plugin all ‘original’ code?

Hi, glas you found the cause, well done. And yes, we are using the plugin. As I understand it does not do much regarding site functionality but is needed in case we need woocommerce support, and of course we like to be abble to depend on that support if needed.

    So what are the options?
    1. Switch off the woocom helper plugina and all works fine.
    2. An update of pro2pdf plugin perhaps???

    Cheers,

    Hi all,
To continue we’ve (for now) disabled the WooCommerce Helper plugin. Things are progressing but we now face this issue of which I hope does ring a bell with you.

1.Created a new pdf using Adobe Acrobat.
    2. Set up the field map.
    3. Pressing Export to pdf shows the filled in form.
    4. But pressing Preview, filling in the form and then downloading it, shows a form without values and a prompt to fill it in manually.

Any ideas how to solve this?

    Cheers,
    Giordano

Sounds like the shortcode is not correctly referencing the dataset ID. Please paste a screenshot of the shortcode in the On Submit message box.

Ah yes, the dataset was not in the shorttcode. But I’m not sure I understand how this works. A dataset is like a record of previously entered data, right? So why is that needed if we want the customer to enter a new record?

After adding the dataset id a pdf pops up having – obviously – the values of that dataset and NOT the once newly entered. However, a new record is indeed created with the new values when we look at the form’s submits.

Any help is again much appreciated.

Set the dataset parameter to dataset=[id]. That will cause the ‘current’ record ID to populate in place of the [id].

YES, that does the trick! Thank you, sorry if we’re asking dummy questions 😉
