Hi, I would like to know if there is a place where the PDFs generated are stored in. Thanks

No, PDFs are not stored, they are only generated on demand by a link or when attaching to an email the original files is deleted when the email is sent.

We do offer a $10 add-on plugin that will allow you to save PDFs to a folder on your server. Complete this form if you need the add-on.

Hi, thanks for the replay. I just need few more detail on this.
Little preamble: we use formidablepro pdf to generate contract/orders pdfs. We need therefore to make the pdf reacheble just to the specific wp-account that made the order. Of course the pdf must be reacheble also by our call center, sales manager, and administrators.
    Can this scenario be implemented?
    THanks

Yes, using Formidable Views you may control (filter) user access. See more on Formidable’s site here.

Hi, the very last question: is the pdf saved like any other media in the server, correct? The only difference is that these pdfs would have been stored in a particular folder and named with a particular naming convention. In particular the naming convention we need is the ‘contract number’ which is a formidable form paramiter.
    Do you confirm that?
    Thanks a lot

Correction! Regarding the Save PDF Add-on, currently the filename can only be the dataset_id.

We just updated the Addon to include the ability to name files from any field in the Formidable Form, so you can now save as the ‘contract number’.

Hi, we have just purchased the add-on. We do not see it in the download section of the profile. Is it normal? Please let us know.
    Thanks.

Hi, I didn’t receive it. Maybe my mail server blocks the mails that contain php code in attachment. Can you post it in ‘my download section’, or send me the plug-in with ‘wetransfer’ service or similar?
    thanks

Hi, plug-in installed, thanks. I was expecting a ‘friendly like’ customization panel, but I do not see it.
    For example:
    – Where can I say which file has to be stored and which not?
    – Where can I declare the name of the file?
    Let me know. Thanks

The save folder is currently set to ‘wp-content/pdf’, to change, open the php file and the folder path is the first line of code.

For the filename, change the ID in $datasetId = ‘[11]’; to the ID of the filename field in your form.

Save the PHP, zip the file, and reinstall the plugin.
