I spent all week end trying to understand why my website freeze.
It would not open, timeout in all pages.

I reinstall everything, I clean everything. I even put an empty template with none inside. No post, no article. Nothing. And leaving all the plugin the site was freezed.

Then I disactivate every plugin. One by one and at the end I see that the problem was the Formidable Pro2Pdf the reason of my issue.

I disinstall the plugin. I reinstall it and nothing. Even if the it look a little bit better then before, the site is very slow when is active.

Before wasn’t like that, but something change with your update. Please fix it, as I purchase it, I really need it.

Right now the plugin is disactivated… and the site is very fast.

Exactly the same problem here! I am almost 100% sure that there is a conflict between this plugin and Visual Composer. When I disable Visual Composer, the page loads fast. When I disable this plugina and activate Visual Composer, the page loads fast. When I have them both activated, the site crashes. How did you fix your problem?

    Thanks

I’m having the same problem here. since the 2.29 update my website will essentially stop responding after I activate the plugin and will eventually load after about 20-30 seconds. As soon as I deactivate it, the website responds normally again. I have never had this problem before. I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling but it behaved the same. I updated to 2.30 and am experiencing the same issue.
    I’m not running VC plugin.

Your issue may be easier to troubleshoot, the other user’s installation freezes for 3-5 minutes. If possible, please complete this form to have us login to your installation to find and fix the issue.

I was able to resolve this problem by uninstalling wordpress, creating a new database, reinstall wordpress and then I restored from a backup that I took after issue had occurred. Actually the backup was from 5 minutes before I wiped it all out. Now when I activate pro2pdf, everything works as it should.

I might not have had to take all of those steps to solve the issue but I wanted to try it all in one shot.
    I had already tried:
    uninstalling pro2pdf and reinstalling
restoring from backup I had taken right after the problem had started
    Reinstalling wordpress.

I didn’t have this problem on any other website that I use pro2pdf on so I’m left to believe it was a problem with network solutions. It was odd that the problem happened right after I updated the plugin though and then I found this forum post and thought that the issue was with the plugin.

I happy to have been mistaken 🙂
