I downloaded the free version in the hopes that I could test this out on my own before I committed to buying this for a client. Based on the demo, I think this is something I can use to fulfill a need, but on the free version, I cannot get the very simple PDF I want to use to upload into the mapping portion so I can try to map the fields. Every time I try to upload it, it spins, refreshes the page, and puts me right back to using the documentation pdf.

After you upload a PDF, it’s uploaded… then, the field map layout needs to be created…

    Here’s a quick how-to…
FIRST, go to the SETTINGS tab and select the option to “Enable automated layout creation for new field maps”, then click the SAVE CHANGES button.

SECOND, submit data at least once to the Formidable Form you are going to merge. The form must have one entry for the plugin to work!

THEN, from the plugin’s EXPORT tab…
. Upload a fillable Adobe PDF Form
. Select the Formidable Form from the “Select the form to export data from:” dropdown list.
. Type a name for your merge in the “Name of Field Map (will be used as default filename):” textbox.
. Select your PDF form from the “Select PDF file to work with:” dropdown list.
. Select your Formidable Form from the “Select Form to work with:” dropdown list.
. Click the “CREATE FIELD MAP” button

    After the screen refreshes…
. Select the Formidable Form from the “Select the form to export data from:” dropdown list.
. Select the newly created Field Map Layout from the “Field Map to use:” dropdown list.
. Scroll down to finish creating your layout.

    Here’s the demo video.

Let us know the results. We remain at your service.

NOTE: Make sure your PDF filename does not include any extra “.” periods or any special characters.
