A few questions before we proceed with the purchase.
Here is a quick scenario:-
We are using Formidable Pro to create forms. Entries to this form will always and only be imported in bulk. Email notification is setup within the Formidable Pro plugin to send mail every time an entry is imported. Each time an import is done it accounts for approx. 500 entries with each entry having close to 40 fields. Currently, the contents of each entry is sent as an HTML mail notification to separate mail accounts, so approx. 500 emails will be generated with one import. We want to send this information in a PDF file rather than as part of a mail content. I noticed that in the trial version of Formidable Pro2PDF, there are two options that we could not test:
a. Password Protect the PDF file
b. Attach PDF file to Email Notification
So the questions are:
a. Can Formidable Pro2PDF handle generating approx that many PDFs and attaching them to built-in Email notifications of Formidable Pro with a single import? Would greatly appreciate it if you could give us some additional info on how this works?
b. Is it possible to set customized password for each PDF file generated? eg: Each PDF file generated for each entry should have a password from a combination of…say two or three fields in the actual form.
Apologies for the long mail and would greatly appreciate a quick response.

We have not created or tested bulk imports with email attachments. How are you emailing for each imported entry now as the feature is not built into Formidable.
Regarding passwords, currently the plugin is only designed to dynamically create passwords from the shortcode.
We are willing to work with you to add the required functionality. Is there custom code for the bulk import emails?March 27, 2017 at 10:05 pm #12220
Thank you for the response.
“How are you emailing for each imported entry now as the feature is not built into Formidable.”
This functionality is already available in Formidable Pro to sent an email when an entry is imported. It is present under “Email Notifications” —> “Action Triggers” —> “Trigger this action after” —-> “Import”.
“Regarding passwords, currently the plugin is only designed to dynamically create passwords from the shortcode.”
How does this work? Is it a pre-defined password parameter within the shortcode?
“We are willing to work with you to add the required functionality. Is there custom code for the bulk import emails?”
Would this be part of the support offered during purchase. If not, Could you please advise on the charges?
And for the sake of clarity, Is it possible to send the generated PDF as an attachment and not a link?

Yes, PDF’s may be sent as attachments, however, we were not aware of the new import trigger, we are testing the feature and will update you again soon.
Currently a static password may be added to the Field Map Layout which would be the same password for all PDFs that are emailed or created by the shortcode. Optionally, you may use the password shortcode parameter to dynamically set the password when the user click the link provided by the shortcode (does not effect emailed PDFs).
Included with your support, we will further explore the possibility of adding a dynamic password to emailed PDFs. We will respond here with our findings soon.
We remain at your service.
