Last year I used this…. (it works and is still working)

In the syntax above where is the 4600 coming from? dataset=[4600]<h6 class=”alignleft”>[formidable-download form=”frmproapplication310″ dataset=[6270] layout=”1048″ title=”Print/Download 2017 Closing Statement(pdf)” inline=1]</h6><br><br>
dataset=[4600] would refer to a field ID #4600 in the form.
dataset=[id] results in the current entry ID when used in a Formidable Email Action, View, or On Submit Message Box.
