When I am associating the form fields with the pdf one, after the loading of the pdf, I don’t have any pic of the pdf or list of field’s name.
Do you have any idea of what could be the problem ? Coult it be because of something wrong in the pdf ?

Check these things…
. Enter data at least one time into the Formidable Form. (Entries list must NOT be empty)
. Plugin is NOT compatible with LiveCycle PDF Forms
If you still do not have a list of field names after confirming the above, please complete this form and we would be happy to take a look at your installation, or please send a screenshot of the Formidable Forms entries page and also the PRO2PDF Export tab with the Formidable Form selected for further review.

I tried to fill a first time the form before associating fields but it seems this is not the problem.
Furthermore, I don’t use LiveCycle PdfForm.
I couldn’t complete the form to send you more informations about my installation because the link expired it seems, could you refresh it please ?

We replied to your email regarding this issue on Aug. 22, 2016. Here’s the message…
Two issues were found;
Regarding “Fiche client_V2.5 PP psw.pdf”, the PDF document has no PDF form fields. Add PDF form fields using Adobe Acrobat, PDF Escape or any other Adobe PDF form field creator, except LiveCycle.
Regarding both files, do not use periods (.) in the file name as this causes unexpected results. We have renamed and re-uploaded the “Fiche client_ P Morale psw v4.1.pdf” file to “Fiche client_ P Morale psw v4-1.pdf” and all works as expected, see here: http://devetfinances.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=fpdf&wpfx_form=frtzs&wpfx_layout=1003&wpfx_dataset=49

Quite some times since my last answer but here I am again.
1/I look back at my files and if I think they have pdf form fields : can you check for example the W_Fiche_client_V2-5 PP psw.pdf file to tell me if the pdf are good or not and if not, tell me why this is not the good way.
2/I renamed all my files (all which are beginning by W_…) to remove the dot.
3/Finnaly and this is a new question : when I upload the “Baloise.pdf” file which is quite big, I didn’t had any things good happening at first… but after waiting something like 10 minutes, some fields began to popup in form2pdf : did big pdf files require more times to load (like 10 minutes ?) ?

PS : for the moment, I am disapointed with all the trouble I am into using the plugin. If this is a problem with the pdf, I would need to know what’s wrong because everything seems fine for me and I am consuming huge time on this part of my project for the moment. You’ll need to clear the password from the W_Fiche_client_V2-5 PP psw.pdf file, it is causing an error. Let us know when the password is removed and we will continue testing the file.

I have a large (>70) number of fields to associate and the web browser seems not to appreciate this while processing the file : is there some known troubles using the formidablepro2pdf plugin in these context ?

No, 70+ fields are not an issue. 350+ fields could be an issue.
Try unchecking the “Enable field previews in the Field Map Designer” setting under the Settings tab.
If that does not help, please elaborate on your issue “web browser seems not to appreciate this while processing the file”… What is the browser or PDF doing?

I meant that my web browser is slowing down when trying to map the pdf with big forms. If <350 fields should be ok, I don’t understand why it is slow… Anyway, disabling the preview makes it ok, so thanks.
I have a last question for now : I would like to automaticaly on submit send the exported pdf by email to someone but while the “Attach file to Email notifications” field is set to yes and I have check the email notification below. I don’t receive any file in the email sent : what could possibly be wrong ?

Are you able to Export the PDF from the plugin’s admin screen? If yes, then be sure to delete all other field map layouts that are related to the same form if they are not in use. Or you must uncheck the “Attach file to Email notifications” option on the other field maps to prevent errors.
The plugin will attempt to email ALL PDFs where the Formidable Form is mapped in a layout with the “Attach file to Email notifications” option checked.

Our senior programmer is troubleshooting the issue but so far has not found a solution. Please work with Formidable to find out why the HTML emails are not working correctly, that may fix the attachment issue. In the meantime we have recreated your environment locally and will continue researching solutions.

I don’t understand the formidable part in your answer as I receive correctly notification mails but the trouble is with the pdf attachments.
If you find anything that could help, please let me know as soon as possible as for the moment my project is blocked on this point because of the plugin not working properly.
